The health and safety of our guests, employees and community is of utmost importance to us. In accordance with government restrictions, Strahan Village will not be taking any new bookings from 28 March 2020 until further notice. 

We are committed to offering our guests flexibility to assist in dealing with these unique circumstances, irrespective of how you have booked.

Noting broad travel-related uncertainties due to COVID-19 (coronavirus), Strahan Village is honouring all requests for cancellations of bookings for travel taking place up to and including 31 May 2020, with no application of penalties.

These terms of service override our default terms of service listed below, which apply to all travel after 31 May 2020. Strahan Village will evaluate this date as the situation surrounding COVID-19 unfolds.

Accommodation & Tours

These terms and conditions apply to accommodation made available by Strahan Village. By making a booking for accommodation, you warrant that you have read these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them subject to such changes as are notified to you from time to time. If the booking for accommodation tour is made through a third party, the terms and conditions of that third party also apply.

General Terms

Where indicated, minimum stay conditions apply to accommodation options. Strahan Village endeavour to provide the accommodation and tour but reserves the right to refuse requests for bookings or actual bookings due to insufficient or excessive numbers of requests. All accommodation is subject to availability.

Booking Policy

All accommodation bookings must be guaranteed at the time of reservation by provision of credit card details. By providing credit card details you warrant that you have the authority to use the credit card and you authorise Strahan Village to charge the cost of your booking to the credit card. You will not be charged for an accommodation booking prior to the date on which you are due to arrive unless previous arrangements have been made directly with Strahan Village.

Cancellation Policies

Cancellation fees for accommodation are as follows for Strahan Village:

  • 72 hours or more prior to arrival: Nil
  • Less than 72 hours prior to arrival: contract rate for 1 night per room cancelled.

If a deposit has not been paid then cancellation fees will be charged to the credit card held as a guarantee. If a deposit has been paid:

  • and the amount of the deposit is more than the cancellation fee then the cancellation fee will be deducted from the deposit and the balance of the deposit will be refunded.
  • and the amount of the deposit is less than the cancellation fee then the deposit will be taken in part payment of the cancellation fee and the balance of the cancellation fee will be charged to the credit card held as a guarantee.

No refund will be given for any unused services or non-arrival.
