Gordon River Cruise: cross the vast Macquarie Harbour and enter the majestic Gordon River, wander amongst the largest tract of temperate rainforest surviving on earth, home to trees that are thousands of years old. Enjoy a chef prepared lunch showcasing Tasmanian produce, before exploring the ruins of Sarah Island.

West Coast Wilderness Railway: Depart from the original harbour side Regatta Point Station in Strahan and take in the fabulous harbour views as the train follows the foreshore and then the river as you journey deep into the rainforest and cross the formidable iron bridge.

Out and about
Strahan Golf Club: a nine-hole golf course, featuring well-kept, watered greens fringed by tall eucalypt trees and nice and flat for easy walking. Six of the holes have deep hazard ditches, including the par three fourth hole, which requires a lofted tee shot over tall gum trees to a green with front and rear hazard ditches.

Hogarth Falls: an easy 1.3 km return walk from Strahan Village takes you through cool temperate rainforest with remnant swamp gums, Sassafras, leatherwood and myrtle towering overhead. The walk follows Botanical Creek, home to a variety of native fish and the elusive platypus.

Team building
Community Challenge: teams may travel to a number of different locations and, once on-site they work together to complete their challenge – which may be rebuilding old bicycles to be donated to local charities, painting or decorating a local community hall, running a bingo party for aged pensioners, or gardening at a local hospital or retirement facility.

Beach Olympics: in small teams representing countries, participants compete in a series of fun events designed to improve teamwork, communication and leadership, while being lots of fun. Activities range from flag races, sand-skiing, kayak races and sand sculptures through to tunnel digging and multi-sport games.
