Yes, Strahan Village offers a discount on accomodations to auto club members, please refer to your auto club member benefits to find out how to access your discount. This discount is also offered at Cradle Mountain Hotel and Freycinet Lodge.
You will be required to display your membership card on check in. The name on the reservation must match the name on the membership. You can book up to 5 rooms per reservation with your membership.

Some rooms are located at the same level as the Strahan Esplanade and waterfront (Village) and others at the top of the hill overlooking Macquarie Harbour (Harbour View).
We accept all major credit cards, including Diners and Union Pay. There is no surcharge for using a credit card.
After selecting your dates of stay, you will see a button towards the top of the page that says ‘add more rooms to booking’. Simply click on this and then select ‘add room’. The system will then prompt you to select the dates of stay and room type. You can navigate between rooms by selecting ‘manage rooms’ near the top left of the page.
We do not require payment at the time of booking for any accommodation reservations. Payment is required upon check-in at the hotel. We do however ask for your credit card details at the time of booking to secure your reservation. Please ensure you are familiar with our cancellation policy.

We strongly suggest making a reservation for Hamer’s Bar and Bistro and View 42° Restaurant and Bar to avoid disappointment. Hamer's Bar does not require reservations, however the Bistro does get busy of an evening and bookings are reccommended. Reservations can be made at reception or by phoning the restaurant on (03) 6471 4361.

Yes, all rooms have hairdryers for guests to use.
We have coin operated washing machines. One is located in the Village and there are two on the Hilltop. They take $1 and $2 coins.
Our rooms have tea and coffee making facilities but not kitchen facilities. Multiple dining options are available on site.
Our Harbour View rooms, Cottages and Hilltop Harbour View rooms have mini bars. Our other rooms do not, however if you would like a mini bar in your room, please kindly let us know and we can arrange it for you.
Yes! We have a Tesla charging station in front of Strahan Village reception that is compatible with Teslas and other electric vehicles.
We do not have a shuttle bus. However, there is road access and a set of stairs and boardwalk linking the two areas.
Unfortunately there is not a taxi service in Strahan.
Yes, parking is free of charge while staying at or visiting Strahan Village. It is uncovered and parking spaces are not allocated.
Yes. Drive Car Hire have centres in Strahan, Hobart, Launceston and Devonport.

From our Village rooms, it’s a very short walk of a couple of minutes. Allow 5 minutes from the Hilltop.
The weather on Tasmania’s west coast can be variable but that’s part of the attraction. Bring a jacket and dress with plenty of layers.
